Career Path After 10th. (What's Next?)

Many of you have appeared in your board exams (10^th) and results are out. At this point of time, many of you get confused in choosing the right path and the question that strikes your mind is what’s next? This is the crucial stage of your career and yeah, you have to give time in choosing your career that what are you planning next. 

What's Next

There are people around you who will suggest you with different career options, but don’t go with anyone’s suggestion as you may regret later.

 My opinion is that, take your time and choose the field in which you can show your talent, in which you are happy and the field in which you can get success.

If you are still confused here at Careerwalle.com, I am going to suggest you with some streams which you can choose for your career after 10^th. Again all I can do for you is, I can suggest you but you are the only one who has to decide which one is best for you.

Streams Which Can Be Availed After 10th 

Career path after 10th

1. Science

Science is one of the most favourite streams and it has an excellent career option. If you are good at maths, physics, chemistry, and biology choose this stream as it will be beneficial for you. 

But yeah, before choosing this stream there are some points you should keep in mind.

      

       1. You should have good hands in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry as these are the core subjects of Science.

       2. You have to maintain a proper timetable after choosing science as your stream. A good practice is required in maths, physics, and chemistry. Without practice, science is just a waste. Apart from good practice, you need to be practical towards your studies as the subject itself deals with formulas, experiments, laws etc.

       3. Choosing the right board is most important i.e. ISC, CBSE, JAC etc.

       4. Finding out the reason that why are you choosing Science as your career? It's not that science has excellent career opportunities so you would take science. You have to look at your past and present and according to it, you have to judge your weakness, strengths, and your skills. And finally, if you think that you can deal with science just go for it.

       5. Seeing the further scope i.e. what are the career option available in science after completing your 10+2?     

Eligibility

1. You have to score more than 80% in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry to opt for Science. (You might be thinking why I have not mentioned 60%. Frankly speaking, guys if you want a good school you have to score good marks.)

2. In many schools, two options are available: A. Pure Science and B. BioScience.  Both of them have a different syllabus and different career options.

3. Nowadays many schools have their own entrance test. So you have to qualify their test to get your name in that school.

Further Scope of Science 

 As you have chosen science as your stream, you have to deal with it to qualify your higher secondary examination. After qualifying your higher secondary examination, you will be in a place where various opportunities are lying all around you. 

Just you have to pick the one which suits you and move forward. (It's just like you are in a shopping mall and you have to choose which outlet is best for you.) Top trending career opportunities available for this stream are in Information technology, engineering, medical, government, banking etc.

2. Commerce

Commerce is also one of the most demanding streams and has excellent career options. The crowd is little more in this field as because students who fail to opt for science has to choose commerce as their stream. 

Before choosing commerce as your stream you should keep these things in mind:

        1. You should have a good hand in calculation as Accountancy will be your core subject. Apart from Accountancy, Economics and Business Studies will be other two core subjects. So you need to manage these subject properly to get success in this field.
      

        2. Choosing the right board is most important i.e. ISC, CBSE, JAC etc. Again different boards have a different syllabus. So you have to decide which is suitable for you.

        3. There is a good scope of commerce and if you can maintain it you can have a great future ahead. Some of the trending career opportunities are accounting and finance, banking, government jobs etc.

     

        Eligibility

        1. Your overall percentage should be more than 80% to get into some good schools.

        2. Though many schools have their own entrance test, so you have to qualify them.

        

        3. If you work hard and get a strong hand in accounts, business studies etc. you can have a great career ahead.

     Further Scope of Commerce

      Commerce itself is a vast subject and after qualifying your higher secondary with commerce you have various career opportunities ahead. 

Some of the top trending career opportunities are in the accounting department, Finance and taxes, you can open your own business or firm (Digital Marketing is one of the trending business in today's world), you can try to crack some government exams for entering any government farm etc.

      

      The only thing you have to do is choose the field you are capable of and start your journey towards it. I can surely commit you that you are going to enjoy yourself choosing this career. 

  

      3. Arts

Now you all might be thinking that I have mentioned arts at the bottom so it would have less scope. No guys, Arts is also one of the most demanding streams which have a great scope ahead. 

Few points you should keep in mind that:

  1. You have to be a good learner if you want to choose Arts as your stream.

  2. History, Geography is the core subject and you have to commands these two subjects. Apart from these two, there are subjects like sociology, Political Science etc. in which you should have a good command in these subjects.

  3. You have to find a perfect reason that why you are choosing arts as your stream and the career options available in this stream.

 Eligibility

1. As the stream is all about History, Political Science, Sociology, and geography, so you have to score good marks in these subjects.

   

2. Yeah, you have to qualify some entrance test if you want good schools for completing your 10+2.

  

3. You should have a basic concept of History and Geography. You have to be a good learner to understand these subjects.

Further Scope of Arts

You have seen some of the famous writers, lawyers, Social worker, speakers etc. You might have visited some of the famous monuments. So if you want to explore your career and if you are interested in some past histories, I assured that this career path is meant for you and really if you are a good learner than you are going to enjoy this field. 

Choosing this career path you can be a successful layer, writer or learning from the past you can be the next history towards the whole world.

Guys all these streams are good among themselves and these streams have their own career paths. It totally depends upon you that which field you are interested in and what are the career opportunity available in your field.

You have to work hard and score good marks to get placed in good colleges after completing your senior secondary. So, I would like to say that take your own time and decide which one to opt.
